Servings: 4 servings Ingredients:
4 Lbs Beef Short Ribs
1/2 Cup Flour
1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
2 Teaspoons Olive Oil
3 Tablespoons Butter isolated
1 Tablespoon Flour
1/3 Cup Onion minced
2 Carrots stripped and minced
2 Stalks Celery minced
6 Cloves of Garlic minced
1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoon Liquid Smoke
2 Cups Beef Broth
2 Sprigs Fresh Rosemary
4 Sprigs Fresh Thyme
2 Bay Leaves
Pureed potatoes for Serving

Instructions:
Warmth the broiler to 375
Spot the flour, salt and pepper in a pie dish or skillet.
Coat each rib on all sides with the flour and put in a safe spot.
Warmth a dutch stove or broiler safe pot over medium high warmth with a couple of showers of olive oil. Include 3-4 ribs one after another,
searing on each side and evacuate to a plate.
Crash any dark flour if there is any, leaving any seared bits in the container.
Turn the warmth to medium and include the olive oil and margarine.
Rapidly include the onions, carrots, celery and garlic, blending to consolidate.
Cook for 5-6 minutes or until the veggies are delicate.
Include the rest of the flour and mix for 30 seconds.
Include the vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, fluid smoke, and hamburger stock. Bring to a stew.
Include the herbs and sound leaves and spot the short ribs back in the pot.
Spot the top on the pot and cook for 2 1/2-3 hours in the stove, or until the meat is tumbling off of the bones and the fluid has diminished down.
Evacuate the straight leaves and herbs and serve hot over pureed potatoes.
