  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 medium carrot, cut into matchsticks
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds, discretionary trimming
  • Sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, see note
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup dark colored sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp Asian sesame oil

Instructions:
  1. Set up the noodles as per the bundle headings (see note).
  2. Cut flank steak into slender strips, around 2 x 1/4 inch every (5 cm x 1/2 cm).
  3. In a medium bowl, blend 1 tbsp of cornstarch and 1 tbsp of soy sauce.
  4. Hurl the meat strips in the soy sauce blend and marinate for 10 minutes to knead (you can skirt this progression if in a surge).
  5. In a medium bowl, blend 2 tbsp soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar and ginger. Hold.
